Rafael’s Coffee specialises in small-batch coffee roasting, using fair trade beans sourced from all over the world.
Roasting in the Macedon Ranges since 2012, we are dedicated to superior freshness, sustainable sourcing and personalised service.
Rafael’s Coffee has grown a dedicated following of coffee lovers who share our values and vision, motivating us to pursue the freshest and best coffee every time.
We’re Fairtrade certified and local distributors of Expobar coffee machines and Macap grinders.
Our origins
Owner, barista and coffee roaster Rafael Fabris developed a passion for coffee whilst working as a viticulturist in central Victoria.
His love of good coffee along with his quest to bring other coffee lovers freshly roasted beans inspired him to establish a boutique roastery.
Why we’re different
A point of difference with our coffee is that we roast strictly to order which for our customers means that your beans will always be fresh. Coffee must be treated as a fresh product, allowing the drinker to enjoy the many flavours it has to offer.
We roast to a medium level to preserve the 850 flavour components, oils and subtle nuances of the coffee beans.
To keep the coffee experience interesting, we periodically source beans from different regions and growers from around the world and promote them on our website,social media and mailing list.
We typically rotate single origins about every three months depending on availability and quantities.

We roast every Thursday which means that our customers can have freshly roasted beans every week. Beans can be picked up from our roastery in Lancefield or purchased from us at the Woodend, Kyneton, Riddells Creek, Lancefield and Macedon Farmers' Markets (see Locations page for details).
We deliver free of charge in the Macedon Ranges and can also post your coffee order.
We offer a personalised service including single origin coffees, speciality blends and weekly quantity provisions.
