This is a blend of Colombian, Peruvian, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Indian beans. A well rounded and balanced coffee that will appeal to those who like a mid-strength coffee with complexity and character. It has chocolate and cocoa overtones and proven to be a popular blend which works well as an espresso or with milk.
Ipanema is a popular beach in Brazil which provides a clue to the backbone of this blend which consists of beans from Brazil, Peru and Sumatra. The combination of these beans provides a coffee rich in caramel, cocoa and nut characters. The Sumatran Mandheling beans is the smallest fraction of the blend yet it imparts considerable richness and sweetness
Llaneros originates from Colombia and is a reference to their native grasslands. This blend consists principally of Colombian, Brazilian and Papua New Guinean beans with a small fraction of Indian Robusta beans. This is a luscious coffee which has a richly textured palate of cocoa, hazelnut and dark chocolate. Great for those who enjoy a stronger coffee.
A blend of Brazilian and Indian Arabica and Indian Robusta (20%) beans created to provide the Italian espresso experience. This coffee is rich in body with a soft acidic note. Typically, it has a dense long lasting crema, good length on the palate and finishes with a hint of bitterness. Robusta beans provide the hallmarks of an Italian Espresso, caffeine and a heavier longer lasting crema and in true traditional style should be consumed as an espresso shot.
